A musician's portrait

Last Spring my baby brother came to visit me in Canada for the first time. We hadn't seen each other in two years, so it was really nice to spend 3 weeks together. About a year before I had made a backdrop that I was hoping one day to be able to photograph him on it. A couple of years ago I found two full boxes of old music sheets at my mother-in-law's building. They have this Free Table where people leave stuff they don't want anymore and anyone is free to take it. I couldn't believe someone would throw that out. They ranged from the late 1800's to the 60's. Some I donated to the music teacher at my son's school. Some I put aside for my brother to take back with him, and some books, that had the pages falling apart, I made a backdrop, for when I get musicians in front of my camera. Mauricio has been involved with music since his early teens when he started taking piano classes with Mrs. Neide, a piano teacher who lived in our neighborhood. He's a teacher and a conductor at a Choir in Sao Paulo.
